Director of Client Success


Sprocket Sports is a rapidly growing technology company based in Chicago that is quickly emerging as a national leader in the youth sports marketplace. Our software and services help clubs streamline operations, reduce expenses and accelerate growth – freeing them up from the business of running a club so they can focus on what really matters: kids playing sports!

We are currently seeking a Director of Client Success to join our Client Services Team. The primary objective of our Director of Client Success is to help our clubs reap the benefits of Sprocket’s innovative software and services and turn them into raving fans. The Director of Client Success will be instrumental in building our team, cultivating our company culture and growing our business.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
  • Directly manage client relationships to ensure that we deliver exceptional service that meets and exceeds client expectations.
  • Hire, mentor and manage a team of Customer Success Managers and Associates, creating a positive, collaborative and high-performing culture.

  • Partner with clients to help them achieve their goals and capitalize on new opportunities.
  • Engage with clients to gather feedback and share with the technology team to develop product enhancements and new features.
  • Note: Some evening and weekend work may be necessary.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements and strategies to enhance the overall customer experience.
Qualifications/Experience/ Skills:
  • A bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
  • 5+ years of account management or direct client service experience in the technology sector is preferred.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills: the ability to inspire, motivate and mentor your team and build strong partnerships with clients.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills: to engage, influence and set expectations for team members, colleagues, customers and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Must have a positive, can-do attitude, ability to problem solve and willingness to work with others to find creative solutions.
  • Sports background and/or tech industry experience is preferred.
