Sprocket Sports Expands its Leadership and Business Development Teams with Key New Members


CHICAGO, November 18, 2024 - Sprocket Sports, a leading technology platform for youth sports clubs, today announced the addition of four new members to its leadership and business development teams.

Madalyn Fiedler  Business Development

Madalyn Fiedler is a former Big Ten volleyball player who brings a wealth of diverse experience to Sprocket Sports, including 8 years of sales experience within the technology industry, 10 years of coaching club volleyball in the Chicagoland area, and also working in athletic academic advising. A native of Ohio, Madalyn holds a BS and an MS in Higher Education Administration & Policy from Northwestern University.

Julia Friedman  Director, Client Success

Julia is a seasoned client management professional with 10+ years of experience in the fintech and benefits administration sectors, including 7 years at bswift in Chicago where she worked alongside multiple members of the Sprocket Sports team. Julia excels at managing complex partnerships and leading client-focused initiatives that drive customer satisfaction and retention. Julia earned a BA from Indiana University.

BJ Klinck – Business Development

BJ Klinck brings a strong technology and business development background, with 10+ years as a partner and VP of Sales for a medical software company in Minneapolis. Originally from Canada, BJ has 20 years of experience coaching youth hockey in Minnesota and holds a USA Hockey Level 4 coaching certification. He served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Minnetonka Youth Hockey Association, most recently as Board President from 2020 through 2023.

BJ Klinck – Business Development

Rich joins Sprocket Sports after 21 seasons in NCAA soccer. Rich captained the Northwestern University soccer team to the 2006 Elite Eight before starting a coaching career at Northwestern and subsequent collegiate coaching jobs at Benedictine University and UAlbany. Rich also has extensive experience coaching at the youth level in both camps and clubs, including Sockers FC (IL) and Greenbush SC (NY). Rich holds a BS from Northwestern University and a Leadership Certificate from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management.
