Sprocket Sports Announces Three New Additions to its Leadership Team

Sprocket Sports, a modern technology platform for the management and marketing of youth sports clubs, today announced it has expanded its leadership team with three new hires: Holly Cornille, Chip Perkins, and Cavanaugh Koch.

“I'm thrilled to welcome Holly, Chip, and Cav to the team. Their extensive knowledge and broad experiences in sports and enterprise software will greatly benefit Sprocket Sports in expanding its reach to help more youth sports clubs across the nation,” said Sprocket Sports CEO and co-founder Rich Gallun.

Two-Sport College Athlete and Entrepreneur Brings Deep Experience in Youth Sports

Holly Cornille joins Sprocket Sports with over ten years of experience in club management and entrepreneurship. Cornille previously co-owned and operated two clubs in Chicago, CrossFit CE as well as 312 Field Hockey. “I loved helping kids and adults discover what they were capable of both mentally and physically through hard work, effort, and encouragement. As a former athlete myself, I especially enjoyed building relationships with community members and watching them grow and develop as athletes and individuals,” said Holly Cornille, Business Development. Cornille is a Milwaukee native and Northwestern alumnus, where she was a two-sport varsity athlete in both field hockey and basketball.

“Youth clubs today are rapidly evolving and growing every season with new technologies to assist on and off the field, and Sprocket Sports will help clubs keep pace and set new trends within the game. Sprocket Sports is the modern solution to today's challenges in youth sports — addressing everything from the complexities of administering registrations, payments, and financial aid, to team management, communications, and marketing,” added Cornille.

Business Leader Shifts Focus to Youth Sports Technology

Chip Perkins joins Sprocket Sports from bswift, a leading provider of SaaS benefit management solutions, where he was instrumental in the company’s growth from a startup to its eventual acquisition by Aetna/CVS Health. With more than two decades of experience in enterprise technology, Perkins is adept at serving complex, high volume businesses and their needs for automation, process improvement and analytics. Perkins was also a member of the men’s varsity soccer team at Bowdoin College, where he was a four-year letterman.

“I’m delighted to be reunited with Rich Gallun, CEO of Sprocket Sports, and many familiar faces, to bring much needed, blue-chip technology to the world of youth sports. It’s fun to get the gang back together to build another winning platform that can truly move the needle for clubs, both financially and from a quality-of-life perspective. From the operational efficiencies to the built-in marketing tools, the Sprocket Sports system is designed to assist youth sports clubs in their journey to improve and grow,” said Perkins.

Former College Athlete Brings Expertise and Passion to Team

Cavanaugh Koch joins Sprocket Sports from Billd, a FinTech company in the construction industry, bringing more than ten years of experience in enterprise technology and services. Koch previously worked at bswift for over five years.

As a lifelong sports enthusiast, former collegiate football player, and now parent of two boys, Koch understands the need to streamline marketing and operations so club leaders and administrators can focus on what really matters – optimizing the player experience. “I look forward to combining my experience in enterprise technology with my passion for sports to help youth sports clubs reduce the administrative burden and deliver the best experience for their members. What is so different about Sprocket Sports is not only the built-from-the-ground-up platform — a truly one-stop shop for youth sports clubs — but the people behind it. The team here at Sprocket Sports is intelligent, collaborative, and passionate, and I look forward to finding new clubs to partner with,” said Koch.
