Sprocket Sports Welcomes Technology Veteran and Soccer Leader to its Leadership Team

Sprocket Sports announced today that it expanded its leadership team with two new hires: Emma Frutkin and Luke Weaver. Frutkin joins Sprocket Sports from Kenway Consulting and brings more than a decade of experience in enterprise SaaS technology. Frutkin will lead marketing for Sprocket Sports. Luke's extensive experience in coaching, club management and youth sports in the United States and England brings deep industry knowledge to Sprocket Sports’ innovative platform. Weaver will lead business development for Sprocket Sports.

"I'm thrilled to welcome Emma and Luke to the team. Their experience in technology and sports, as well as their passion to transform youth sports, will help us launch Sprocket Sports on a national level," said CEO and co-founder Rich Gallun.

Technology Veteran to Lead Marketing

Emma Frutkin joins Sprocket Sports with over 10 years in enterprise SaaS technology as well as experience in tech consulting and entrepreneurship. She will lead the company's marketing efforts and oversee the marketing offerings available to Sprocket Sports club clients.

"I'm delighted to be reunited with Rich, co-founder Brett Baker and a number of my former teammates," commented Frutkin. "This is a highly intelligent and collaborative group with very high standards and a tremendous work ethic. I'm excited to help Sprocket Sports become the technology leader in youth sports, as we did previously in employee benefits at bswift."

"My first priority at Sprocket is to help clubs better market themselves to increase revenue," adds Frutkin. "At Sprocket Sports, our marketing offerings are modern, bold and easy for customers to deploy. And as a 'soccer mom' myself, I can attest to the relevant messaging and simplicity of the platform. I love how easy it is to not only sign my kids up at the beginning of the season, but also to stay informed of club events, news, schedule changes and team communications. With Sprocket Sports, everything is right at my fingertips."

Soccer Coach and Club Leader Brings Deep Experience in Youth Sports

Luke Weaver comes to Sprocket Sports to lead Business Development with over 20 years of experience in coaching and soccer club leadership. He has earned 25+ coaching licenses, including the English FA level 3/UEFA B coaching license and the United Soccer Coaches Advanced National Diploma and Director of Coaching Diploma. In England, Luke coached professionally for Plymouth Argyle FC and served as Head Coach for the College of St. Mark & St. John Men's Soccer Team. Stateside, he served the Kickers Soccer Club for 11 years in various roles including Director and Executive Director. Luke coaches collegiately for the Women's program at Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

"I'm excited to join such a passionate and innovative leadership team and to help clubs improve efficiencies and profitability and take their organizations to the next level," noted Weaver. Youth clubs today are rapidly evolving every season with new technologies to assist on and off the field, and Sprocket Sports will help clubs keep pace and set new trends within the game.
